Healthcare & Aged Care Projects
St John Of God Subiaco
After successful completion of Stage one structural works contract, Tyrone was awarded an additional contract for stage 2 which included construction of a temporary carpark, pump room and Hv Switch rooms as well as upgrades to the secondary and tertiary engineering services, including a new site energy plant, site water plant and the relocation of the power services/switches.
Geraldton Health Campus
Tyrone completed a $3.8 million structural contract in October 25 as part of redevelopment of Geraldton Health Campus in the Mid-West.
The $188 million project includes an expanded emergency department, a new intensive care and high dependency unit as well and variety of integrated mental health facilities.
Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital Upgrade
Tyrone Group won the supply and install structural steel contract for the hospital’s new emergency department. The existing building was scanned and then Imaged modelled against the new plans to identify inconsistences before shop drawings commenced.
The project consisted of over 90 Tonnes of structural steel and was completed within a 12 week turnaround which included design, fabrication and installation and was completed in 2021.
Italian Aged Care - Villa Terenzio
Villa Terenzio operated by Italian Aged Care is a residential aged care facility for older people requiring a higher level of physical care, the new 84 bed home replaced the original old facility built in 1985 featuring a modern design with contrasting materials designed by KPA Architects.
Karringal Green Aged Care
The state of the Art 160 bed aged care home opened in 2020, The precinct caters to all levels of care needs and provides specialist services to both young and old as well as in home and community care services.
Its features boutique living with garden spaces, a wellness centre, heated hydrotherapy pool, gymnasium, café and cinema.
Hollywood Private Hospital
Tyrone undertook a structural package contract at Hollywood Private Hospital, located in Nedlands, is the largest private hospital facility in Australia. Operated by the Ramsay Health Care Group, the acute care facility features more than 900 licensed beds and handles upwards of 75,000 patient admissions each year.
Northam Health Centre
Tyrone Group has completed the masonry works to the Northam Hospital Upgrade which was part of the State Government Funded Health Infrastructure boost to South Western Australia. The works included a refurbished and expanded emergency department, a modified ambulance bay, mental health and occupational therapy services and feature a unique diamond shaped brick façade.
Regis North Fremantle
Sitting on the edge of the swan river the Regis North Freemantle offers 109 ensuite rooms, a private dining room, cinema, café, day spa and hairdressing salon on site the heritage building retains much of its old world opulence.
Opened in 2016, the open courtyard gardens and activity area’s encourage companionship, stimulation and relaxation.
Perth Children’s Hospital
Perth Children's Hospital is WA's flagship paediatric health facility and the largest health project undertaken in the state.
CraigCare Ascot
The CraigCare ascot is a new purpose built 164 bedroom facility which opened in 2020 featuring herb and vegetable gardens, a cinema, music room, library and private dining rooms, the project is heavily focus on creating a family environment where residents can entertain visiting family members of all ages and host family gatherings.
