The Tyrone Difference

A Self-Performing Construction Company

Tyrone has deep in-house capability, supported by our direct workforce and owned logistics fleet, plant and equipment, giving us greater control over delivery, quality and programme.

Our trade personnel form the longest established division of the company and remain one of very few to operate under the ISO 9001 Quality Management System ensuring we train to maintain the highest industry standards.

Modern methods, traditional materials

The merger between Modern Methods of Construction (MMC) and traditional materials, such as timber, brick, and stone, represents a strategic evolution in the building industry that marries enduring aesthetic quality with advanced efficiency. By applying technologies like factory-controlled prefabrication, robotics, and 3D design to traditional materials, the industry transforms raw materials into high-performance components, such as engineered timber (CLT/GLT) or pre-assembled brick panels, which are then rapidly assembled on-site.

This hybrid approach overcomes the limitations of manual, on-site labour, weather disruptions and high waste, while retaining the sustainability, warmth, and aesthetic appeal of classic materials. Consequently, this synthesis offers the "best of both worlds," providing faster project delivery and improved quality control without sacrificing the character and structural familiarity of conventional building materials
