Early Foundations (2006–2010)

  • 2006 – Founded as Tyrone Bricklaying with a small residential project in Melville. By year’s end, we had delivered our first commercial bricklaying contract at St Mark’s High School, Hillarys.
  • 2008 – Opened first office and warehouse in Balcatta, expanding to 18 staff.
  • 2010 – Won St Mary’s Cathedral restoration. Recognised with the Master Builders Structural Works Award and WA Subcontractor of the Year. Began an apprentice training programme, upskilling our trades assistants to become qualified trades.

Diversification and Growth (2011–2017)

  • 2011 – Rebranded as Tyrone Group with 40+ staff, expanding our service offering.
  • 2013 – Awarded structural contract at $105M State Treasury Buildings restoration.
  • 2014Awarded, Masonry and Concrete package at the new $1.2B Perth Children’s Hospital.
  • 2015 – Achieved ISO accreditation for Quality, Health & Safety, and Environment. Hired first full-time HSE officer.
  • 2016 – Launched Concrete & Formwork Division. Secured further Master Builders Award for Structural Excellence.
  • 2017 – Registered as a Building Company. Began formal succession planning and expanded leadership training program.

Industry Recognition and Innovation (2018–2020)

  • 2018 – Relocated to 102 Erindale Road, Balcatta. Awarded Structural contract at the $350M Westfield Carousel expansion. Workforce passed 100.
  • 2019 – Raised National Awareness with a Mental Health Campaign which gained National Recognition. Began R&D into European Precision Construction Systems.
  • 2020 – Introduced Cert II traineeships across divisions. Completed first precast concrete project at the new Midland Oval Redevelopment.

Scaling Precast and Modular (2021–2023)

  • 2021 – Moved to 9 Mumford Place, Balcatta. Launched Precast Division and won a contract to produce 750 Beton Interlocking Blocks for Blue Phoenix Waste-to-Energy Plant. Delivered first prefabricated masonry structure, a bathroom and laundry unit which was transported 600 km without damage.
  • 2022 – Launched Cert IV site supervision training. Engineered Precast ‘T’ Wall Retaining System, constructing a full basement in 11 days. Completed first multi-level Precision Construction prototype, a 3-level home in 23 weeks which represented a 300% improvement on traditional building timeframes.
  • 2023 – Expanded into a 3-acre facility at 42 Paramount Drive, Wangara. Delivered first commercial precision construction project — a 17m high media tower re-engineered into modular components and installed in one day.

A Unified Identity (2024–2025)

  • 2024 – Rebranded simply to Tyrone, reflecting the merger of all individual divisions into one vertically integrated company. Scaled commercialisation of precision construction components.
  • 2025Became the first company in Australia to manufacture prefabricated masonry walls. 360 prefabricated concrete block wall panels where transported and installed on a government-backed social housing project in North Coogee. Began modular wet-area production with 55 prefabricated bathroom units.
  • 2026Expanded manufacturing capacity with a new purpose-built factory in Neerabup which will produce Volumetric wet-areas and Prefabricated masonry wall panels.
