The Claremont Municipal Chambers has served as the home of Claremont Council since 1898. In 2010, a major fire destroyed significant portions of the building, necessitating both restoration of the historic structure and integration of new facilities.
In 2014, Tyrone was engaged to perform repair and restoration work on the original building and construct the masonry elements of the new extension. Our work focused on careful restoration to preserve heritage value while implementing modern construction techniques for long-term durability.
The completed project successfully reinstated this civic landmark for the Town of Claremont, achieving a balance between heritage preservation and contemporary community use.
